Enrique Cabrera Jr., 16

Died Feb. 12, 2007 at 6:19 p.m.

Enrique Cabrera Jr., 16, a Latino youth, was shot near the intersection of Naomi Avenue and 61st Street in Florence, and died at 6:19 p.m. Feb. 12.

Sheriff's deputies say the teenager was seen arguing with several black men in a dark sport utility vehicle. One of the men shot him, and the sport utility vehicle sped away eastbound on 61st Street. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (323) 890-5500.

Damn ma boy I miss you so much no lie.. Nothing is the same since you been gone;( The day you got taken away from the ones that love you was the worst day of my life. Is not faer! I need you so bad you were the only person I truly talk to about everything I miss those hugs you used to give me went I was feeling sad & your stupid jokes just so I could smile went I was down... It been 5years seens you been gone & I cry for you like the first time went I found out my best friend"you" got shot..& die.. It was crazy I was goin CRAZY!!! Couldnt understand why you? Why!?
