Eric Redd

Eric Redd, a 36-year-old black man, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, two and a half years after he was shot in the 900 block of West 97th Street in Vermont Knolls, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Redd was shot in the neck on July 31, 2008. After the shooting, he became a quadriplegic.

On Feb. 1, Redd died as a result from his injury at the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Inglewood, Winter said. Coroner’s records did not show how long the victim had been in the hospital.

"E-dub" Its hard to believe a man that would never hurt a fly would die from the hand of someone else. God has the final say in everything....he has spoken. We loved you but GOD loved you more......REST IN PEACE

I wonder how many murders have happened in that 20 block radius in the past 30 years. Probably hundreds. Hard to believe. Maybe if these kids grew up with fathers it would have been different. Proof that women can't raise kids alone.
