Esteban Garcia, a 15-year-old Latino youth, was shot at 2125 Hooper Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, according to LAPD Newton-area detectives. He was taken to County-USC Hospital, where he died.
Garcia was driving a car out of an alley when the bullet hit him. His foot slammed into the accelerator, and the car lurched forward and flipped over.
Garcia was a student in Santa Monica. His family had recently moved from the area, but he had returned to visit.

Estevan it's going to be six years and I still caint believe it why did they had to take your life alway so young and innocent estevan wasent driving how ever was with estevan ran and left him alone they confused estevan he wasent even a gang member why did you had to leave why they left you alone in the back seat because you were left alone in the back seat the cops think you were driving the cops don't care why they didn't finger print the car to see who was with you if they so call invistagators they don't care thats why they took long to get to the seen the perdamedic were there but they could do any thing about it cause they had to wait for the cops and the cops took more than a half in hour to get there newton station say the true hopefully to god that we can find out what really happen to you love u and miss you always Liz

Rest in Peace little homey, Life is too short and it's too precious to lose. don't know you but your moms love you. After years of pushing my mother's cold case who was murdered in 85 it's going to the Grand jury. It took me 20 years to bring her justice.
