Etsael Cardenas Jr., 21

Died April 8, 2012

Etsael Cardenas Jr., a 21-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, April 8, in the 1000 block of Kensington Road in Echo Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Cardenas was found in his car, unresponsive, by family members about 2 a.m., police said.

That was about 20 minutes after gunfire erupted near Kensington Road and Echo Park Terrace, according to an LAPD news release.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Cardenas with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting and the motive is unknown, police said.

Rest in Peace Tito! I hope the police get the murder and he go to jail for the rest of his life. How can a human do such a thing? Is that what this people call "ganglife". Killing innocent people? Such a coward!
