Evelyn Reynoso, a 24-year-old Latina, was stabbed to death hours after filing a domestic violence report with Los Angeles County sheriff's officials on Thursday, April 2, 2009, according to authorities. She was stabbed multiple times in her home in the 900 block of North Eastman Avenue in East Los Angeles that afternoon.

Reynoso had argued with her boyfriend in the early afternoon, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials. When her boyfriend left she called authorities, and they took a domestic violence report, officials said.

Later in the afternoon, Reynoso's boyfriend returned to her home and stabbed her more than 10 times, officials said.

Deputies responded when a neighbor heard Reynoso screaming and called 911. When deputies arrived at the home, her boyfriend was standing in the doorway holding a knife to his throat, and when the deputies told him to drop the knife he cut his own throat, officials said.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and is now in custody. Reynoso was pronounced dead at the scene.

The killer's brother is in jail for robbing a store at gun point. I guess it runs in the family. What a waste of a money. Now my tax dollars have to be spent to house these fools.

You will be missed, may you rest in peace and watch over your family. You deserved so much more than this. You will forever be loved and remembered.

If she was gorgeous, she sure wasn't very photogenic!

Both her kids were present during the murder. They witnessed it all and remember the event clearly. My aunt cares for these two children. Evelyn was my aunt's niece. The father is currently in jail without the possibility of parole. I pray for both children to live a healthy normal life.

She was beautiful inside and out. Jobe, you are "ugly" for your mean-spirited comment. God rest your soul Evelyn!
