Shortly after noon on Friday, Sept. 11, Brian Lee Randone, a 45-year-old white man, called 911 to report that his girlfriend of several months was not breathing.
Authorities found Felicia Tang Lee, a 31-year old Asian woman, dead in the home in the 500 block of West Duarte Road in Monrovia that she shared with Randone.
When responding officers arrived at the scene, they determined the evidence did not support Randone’s account of what happened, said Lt. Liam Gallagher of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Randone was arrested within hours and was charged four days later with killing and torturing Lee. He is in jail in lieu of $2-million bail.
Lee — an actress and model — had been beaten and choked, according to authorities. Prosecutors said torture charges were filed because of the severity of her injures and evidence that she died slowly.
Coroner’s officials said they would not discuss Lee’s specific injuries because they are still waiting for test results. Her official cause of death has been deferred pending those findings.
Randone’s court-appointed attorney did not return calls for comment. He appeared in court Sept. 15, and his arraignment was continued until Sept. 29. He has not entered a plea.
On paper, at least, the pair seemed an unlikely match.

Felicia Tang was an Angel , her love of life and natural beauty radiated in her smile youthful exuberance. Felicia had a zest for life and this came through in whatever movie or dvd you saw her in, I hope Brian Lee Randone rots in jail or fries in the Electric Chair, for his heinous crime of taking the life of Felicia Lee Tang at such a young age of 31, Felicia I miss you and will always love you girl.

IN 2003 I FELL IN LOVE WITH A PIN-UP STAR AT THAT POINT NOT MANY PEOPLE KNEW OF HER, THAT SAME YEAR WHILE IN VEGAS I LITERALLY BUMPPED INTO HER HUNG OUT WITH HER AND SHE WAS 1 OF THE NICEST MOST BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE I HAD EVER MET, I LOST TOUCH WITH HER AND A YEAR LATER AFTER HER DEATH I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS SICKO IM SAD AND SHOCKED

Felicia was originally from Perth Australia, same place that Heath Ledger and Sam Worthington came from.
She wanted to be an actress and model early on and found some success at home initially.
When they came here to LA she was swamped in a sea of hundreds of thousands of similarly aspiring young women and the Aussie success she enjoyed just didn't follow on here, so she fell in with the wrong crowd and the adult scene was all there was left for her.
I recall in a reasonable recent interview how she kept a lot of her cute Aussie accent and I wish she had just stayed home, never come here, and been content with what she had there.

Her death is sad but not surprising. She is not the first and won't be the last. How many thousand of woman move to LA from somewhere to be actresses and wind up stripping, hooking or doing whatever to pay the bills. She was very pretty but, it takes more than just beauty to make it as an actress in this city. She was just another pretty face in the crowd out here.

I am curious of the current status of this trial. I had was acquainted with the beautiful Felicia, she simply wanted to have fun I can imagine how this could have happened to someone whom could have never provoke someone to cause such a horrific attack. This is a lady!

It's so depressing that Felicia did not get her justice. The trial needs to be tried again. Randone or whoever did this to Felicia needs to get their punishment. Sucks that rich people can get out of homicide so easily.
