Fidel Toro, 60

Died June 9, 2009 at 8:45 p.m.

Fidel Toro, a 60-year-old Latino, got into a fight and died from blunt head trauma the next day, June 9, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Toro got into a fight with another resident at his senior center in the 11300 block of Glenoaks Boulevard in Pacoima on June 8, according to the LA Weekly crime blog.

LA Weekly reported that Toro was knocked unconscious in a fight with Gustavo Soriano, 57, another resident of the senior center. Officials from the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said that the case against Soriano was declined because of insufficient evidence and that he was not charged with a crime.

Toro was taken to a hospital, where he died.
