Francisco Ramirez, 45, a Latino man, died in a homicide in LAPD's Foothill Division on Sunday, April 15, and was pronounced dead at 5:30 a.m.
Update: It took some research to track down this homicide. Ramirez was assaulted in September 2006 near the intersection of 4th and Saint Louis streets in Boyle Heights. He was taken to County-USC hospital, and subsequently to Pacifica hospital, where he lingered for six months before dying. LAPD Hollenbeck detectives have been notified of the death, and will take up the case.
