Francisco Saray Jr.

Francisco Saray Jr., a 29-year-old Latino, died Sunday, May 16, near Randolph Street and King Avenue in Bell, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Saray was found with several gunshot wounds to his torso about 2:20 a.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

He was taken to a hospital in Lynwood where he was pronounced dead at 2:53 a.m., according to coroner's records.

Saray's autopsy is still pending but is expected to be completed by the end of this week, Winter said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500.

Paco's laughter was contagious... his smile unmistakable... a kind soul who always saw the humor in the most serious of things. I'm sure he's looking down and laughing at us now :)

Paco was a wonderful human being and most definitely not in a gang. He was a great friend, brother, uncle, husband, and son. Shame on you for speaking bad about him when you did not even know him. I will never forget your smile and your humor. Love you always.

I live on the block where he was shot and it's sad that it's always the good people who die for the wrong reasons. There is too much crime in Maywood and it needs to stop!!!
