Fred Bigbee, 32
Died Aug. 7, 2011 at 4:20 a.m.
Fred Bigbee, a 32-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, Aug. 7, near West 78th Place and Western Avenue in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Bigbee was at a party about 3:51 a.m. when shots were fired. Bigbee was hit by the gunfire several times.
Authorities were called, and the victim was taken to California Hospital Medical Center, where he died at 4:20 a.m.
Anyone with information about the death of Fred Bigbee is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

Sadly this is another tragedy in the streets of South Los Angeles which may go into some damed "COLD CASE FILE" because people dont want to get envolved. I knew this young man for 8 years and witnessed the growth (BOTH SPIRTUALLY AND MENTALLY)He was pretty special.No mother should EVER have to bury their child !!! For the love of GOD I pray someone please if you witessed this cold blooded and senseless killing assist in bringing this coward to justice. To Syscom 3. Dumb or stoooopid was something that Fred would say all the time and put exagerated emphasis on the word stupid. Also he had fish at his home and the post was simply saying that they would name one of them after him and a friend of his. the post was simply a touch on the many memories that fred left behind.
