Frederico Paz-Contreras, 45

Died March 25, 2010 at 2:02 p.m.

Frederico Paz-Contreras, a 45-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Thursday, March 25, in the 4600 block of McMillan Street in Lynwood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

The shooting occurred about 1:25 p.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office. Paz-Contreras suffered from a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:02 p.m., Winter said.

[Update April 13, 2010: An earlier version of this post, based on the initial coroner's report, stated that Paz-Contreras had been shot multiple times. Winter said the autopsy ultimately found that Paz-Contreras had been shot once in the stomach.]

i live close to the incidenct that happen to this gentleman. i only heard one gunshot not multiple shots

Jasmine, how do you know she was a witness? How do you know she knew the deceased?

Perhaps she's repeating information from a second hand source who didn't know anything in the first place?

All we have from is a statement from a person with a pseudonym. We don't know her involvement with the deceased, nor what her status is as witness.
