Gemora Jawana Knoxs, 33, a black man, was shot multiple times in the 1000 block of West 130th Street in Gardena at about 3:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and died within minutes.
Gardena police got calls from people who heard the shots. Officers found him lying in the middle of the street. He died at the scene.
