George Bravo, 26

Died Aug. 7, 2011 at 2:36 a.m.

George Bravo, a 26-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Sunday, Aug. 7, in the 1200 block of East 27th Street in Central-Alameda, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Bravo was shot about 2:10 a.m. by a person riding a bicycle, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.

Authorities were called and the victim was taken to a hospital where he died at 2:36 a.m.

Coroner's records show Bravo suffered several gunshot wounds.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
