Gustavo De La Torre, a 27-year-old Latino, died when he was shot several times on Saturday, April 11, in the 3600 block of Rosemead Boulevard in Rosemead, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
De La Torre was at a party in a motel when a gunman entered and opened fire into a crowd, killing two people and wounding three, authorities said.
The shooting took place about 2:20 a.m. at the Knights Motel on Rosemead Boulevard, said Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy Aura Sierra. She said the attacker fled and that investigators had made no arrests.
