If the murderer of Herbert Seymour, Jr. think he/she accomplished something big or got a few dollars or laughs out this mindless, senseless slaying, take note. You brought long-lasting grief, destroyed hopes to a father and his family and destroyed all the positive efforts , talents and gifts this man could have brought to the world. He was going to the store to by a beverage, minding his business. This is no reason to commit murder. Justice eventually catches up to all who do evil and cause bloodshed to the innocent, one way or another. Condolence to the Seymour family.

My the God of comforts keep the family during this time. I saw the news coverage of his co-workers and how much Herbert was loved. It spoke volumes to the life he lead. He was a decent person. I pray the cowards are found and tried to the fullest extent of the law.

I hope the person who committed this crime understands what he has done. Herb was an outstanding father, son and friend. I have known Herb for 7years through working with him at Best Buy and he loved his job. It was unbelievable when I heard the news of his death. I had just hugged him 2days prior at the funeral of another co-worker's funeral. I hope someone turns the person in not for the reward money but because its the right thing to do...

The true testament of a man is shown in the lives he touched. The out pouring of love for Herbet Jr. was shown in the stories of friendship, love, and laughter from family, friends, and co-workers. This speaks volumes. Words can not truly express what is felt in the heart. Not a day goes by I don't think about the pain this has caused his family. Let God continue to be your strength. And let's all pray for the childern that are lost and have no regard for life. Let's pray they come to know the Lord and stop all this senseless violence.

Did Herbert have any gang affiliations(or was this a random killing)? I know that a lot of those idiots in L.A. will kill you just because you may live in a Gang infested neighborhood!
My condolences to the family of Herb.

6 whole months later and I am just mourning the grief of my cousin Herbie... I absolutely CAN NOT believe that this was true when I heard it so I had to research it and Im crying my eyes out because its really true.. God please Have mercy on that person who allowed the devil to use them in such a way. What the devil meant for evil God meant it for good... I know my cousin's soul is at rest and in peace with Our Lord and Savior, so we need not worry about him, but ohh you senseless killer Lord have Mercy. Auntie, Unc, and Tay... I will be over soon to visit. I can NOT believe this... May God continue to wrap his arms of Love and Comfort around you all the days of your life I love you fam.

@Cynthia, I know the pain you are going through. I lost my brother in 2010 in a violent way and the pain in my heart is there as if it happened yesterday. I have put it in God's hands but the pain is still there. I pray for you and your family. R.I.P Herbert.
