Hugo Valencia, 19, a Latino young man, was shot multiple times in the 4700 block of East 56th Street in Maywood, and died at 5:33 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.
Update: Sheriff's detectives have cleared this case. A Latino suspect was arrested.

I'm the cousin of Hugo Valencia. I was saddened by his death because he was a young guy that had all his life ahead of him. He was a very nice person, with a good sense of humor. He had the personality to make people smile. Too bad, he is no longer with us, God should have you in heaven, and see you up there with my grandfather!
