Ismael Garcia, a 28-year-old Latino, was found dead Saturday, Feb. 12, in the 10100 block of England Avenue in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Officers responded to a call of an unconscious person in car in an alley about 7:30 p.m., according to an Inglewood Police Department news release.
When authorities arrived, they found Garcia's body seated in the car with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics were called and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A friend who contacted the Homicide Report said Garcia was an anti-violence advocate who worked as a sheet metal worker. He is survived by two brothers, one sister, a girlfriend and a newborn baby girl.

He was the Life Of The Party. All he wanted was to find the right girl and have a baby and his wish came true. Whoever did this just remember everything you do in life, you always pay the price for it. He got taken away from us only in body, but he will forever be in our minds and heart RIP Primo. Your baby girl and all your family will miss you . We will find who did this to you No doubt about it. You will always be missed. What goes around comes around. In the past 12 calendar months, there has been 19 homicides in Inglewood, within 2 miles of the center of the city.

But when u have a family and a four month baby, common sense u wouldnt do tha things u do! Gang banging is not life! Rip! Smokedogg stop living his life on the edge and had stop banging . he changed his ways all he was trying to do is provide more for his family. he didn't deserve this!!! he had everything going good for him. he was a great person. I don't understand how can somebody just do this to a person knowing very well that this can come back to them. you've taken some one so precious from us but just know that we will have him in our hearts forever. And to who ever did this paybacks a bitch. And i hope that you pay for what you've done!!!!!!!!!!!

This shouldn't have happened! Not only did he have a beautiful girl, and a beautiful 4 mo old baby, but he also had a 6 yr old step daughter that misses him everyday! He took care of his family and loved them a lot. There wasn't an hour that went by that he didn't wake his baby up to kiss her and hold her. We would always tell him to leave her alone, and to stop bugging her - lol. Looking back now, maybe he knew that he didn't have much time. He had so much love for his girls. Whoever did this had no heart!

Just found out about this last night...didn't believe it. He was such a good guy always laughing cracking joke ... I personallie had a good time with him the 8 years knowning him.. haven't talked to him in a year or so but now I won't ever til we meet up in heaven.. you will be miss and loved by your family and friends!!! I can't believe some idiote would just take away his life without thinking about how much he has hurt his family. I hope whoever did this burns in hell and lives his life full of hurt and regret for taking some one so precious away from us.Theres a day that doesn't go by that me and my kids don't miss him he will always be in my heart and mind, he was a great brother in law and uncle.
