Jacob Cruz, a one-year old Latino, died Friday, Nov.14, after his mother's boyfriend reported that he had choked on milk, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.
Coroner's records indicate that they found small bruises on Jacob's head and that he also had a distended abdomen and signs of broken arm from a fall on Halloween while also in the care of his mother's boyfriend.
Jacob's death is listed as a homicide by coroner's officials.
