Jairo Reyes, 18

Died March 16, 2008 at 2:17 a.m.

Jairo Reyes, an 18-year-old Latino man, was shot multiple times in the torso at 1175 E. 58th St. in South-Central Los Angeles in the early morning of Sunday, March 16, and died shortly after at County-USC Medical Center at about 2:17 a.m.

Reyes was at the wheel of a van when the assailants noticed him driving through the neighborhood and opened fire. Mortally wounded, he drove a short distance farther and crashed into parked cars.
