Jamal Michael Terry, a 25-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Nov. 2, near West 147th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard in Alondra Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Terry was standing on the sidewalk about 9:14 p.m. when an unknown person walked up and shot him.
After being struck, Terry ran a short distance before he collapsed on the ground.
Authorities were called, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the slaying is asked to contact the sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

God is with him he got to see her when she was born up to six mths. The day. He died. My baby girl was just smileing in laughing in her sleep he was there with her it hurt someone could do that to eetroit

This occured in a area claimed by sur13 a racist mexican gang that hates blacks and is honored why a black is killed.they calim 147 to marine and crenshaw to Lemoli.

Jamal im so sorry i cant sleep and i know u r with me keeping me strong everyday. your son will never get to know his father but i will always keep you with me and your memory alive i miss you so much and i cant get closure in so many ways that i need to. you didnt deserve this at all and i wish all your children can get together one day and share amazing stories of your triumphs . u helped me and my family a lot. but most importantly you gave me a son a life u wont ever see inside me growing and i love u so much baby please why i love u too much detroit. love your family. and we will always remember you jamal..........

Dam sitting here thnking caint argue with u. N u getting on my nerves are you just asking my dad all these question n me remembering what her middle name was and thinking the first day.
