Jamal Tims

Jamal Tims, 28, a black man, was shot multiple times in a housing unit at 518 N. Mentor Street in Pasadena, and died at 8:32 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28. Neighbors heard gunfire and called Pasadena police. Officers found Tims lying wounded on his porch, an investigator said. He was transported to Huntington Memorial hospital for surgery, but did not survive. He was married.

Police are asking for the public's help in solving this murder. Detectives are at (626) 744-4522.
