Jason Grey, a 29-year-old Latino man, was shot and killed in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1. LAPD officers with the Northeast Division responded to a shots-fired call in the area, but later learned that the shooting had taken place inside the cemetery. Glendale police and paramedics, who also responded, were on the scene shortly before the LAPD arrived.
The cemetery, at 1712 S. Glendale Ave., straddles the cities of Glendale and Los Angeles. This was the first homicide of the new year for Los Angeles and is being ruled as gang-related, according to Det. Percy (Pjai) Morris.

I remember hearing about this homicide on the evening news. The news did report that this victim was paying his respects to his deceased mother who's buried at this cemetary when he was shot and killed. Who ever killed this guy has no RESPECT and I'M AT A LOSS FOR WORDS! The world we live in has gone to HELL! RIP JASON GREY!

jason, wanted to tell his moms some thi ngs that he always wanted to tell her when she was alive i guess that by going to the cemetary he could tell her he was sorry but look what happened he was murdered on her fresh grave site. i always think of jason he wanted to be a better person changed man and he woulkd of if he would of left that city to start over.rest in paradise
