Javier Robles

Javier Robles, 23, a Latino man, was shot at a party along with three other people, and died at the scene in the 1900 block of Carmona Avenue in Mid-City.

The wounded victims were hospitalized and were reported in stable condition afterward. Wilshire homicide supervisor Chris Holroyd said the shooting was preceded by an argument in the back yard. People heard shots and called police.

Two Latino men, Michael Gudiel, 22, and Henry Rodriguez, 22, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of homicide.

Police called the shooting "gang-related."
