Jermaine Tryon, 25, a black man, was stabbed twice in the torso at 43807 15th Street West in Lancaster, and died at 2:51 a.m. Sunday, May 13.
Tryon, at left, was shot after leaving Schooner's Restaurant and Bar at 43800 15th St. in Lancaster. Investigators believe he was stabbed by his friend Michael King, 22, a parolee with a history of domestic violence; they say King flew into a rage, stabbed Tryon several times in the torso, then ran. Tryon walked back toward his friends, took off his shirt to show his wounds, then collapsed. Antelope Valley Hospital is right across from the crime scene, but he could not be revived. King remains at large.
Update: King was taken into custody in Watts by corrections agents on May 22, and booked for a parole violation. He has been questioned in the Tryon investigation, said Sheriff's Sgt. Martin Rodriguez.

yes blacky, i have to ask the same question as you...why did he stab him, there was no story to the fact. but i find it to be true, most people die between the hours of 1:30am - 6:00am, the streets in L.A. is just to dangerous, i'am in the house once the sun goes down, and don't come out to sunrise..why was the parolee on the street..L.A. is worse than any scary movie...

So what was the disposition of this case? Was Mr. King tried for this murder?

yes and convicted. he was a great husband to me and great dad to our kids he left me widowed but he is never forgotten sharelle stokes

I miss my dad whit hall my heart he was a great father and he was a ok husband I miss him he was 2in my life because my mom is first and my nana is 3 I love u dad hope u lay peacely love u
