Jessie Valdivia, a 23-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Dec. 5, in the 1000 block of West 3rd Street in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Valdivia was chased down the sidewalk by a gunman and shot several times. He was pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m. at the scene.
