Jesus Cazeres Alonzo, a 27-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, Feb. 2, in the 15400 block of Berendo Avenue in Gardena, authorities said.
Alonzo was shot in the torso and his body was dumped early Tuesday on a Gardena street, police said. Paramedics and officers arrived about 12:45 a.m. and found the body, police said.
Police said witnesses reported that a small black vehicle was seen leaving the area about the time the body was left there.
