Jesus Guevara, 24, a Latino man, was shot in LAPD's Hollenbeck Division while walking out of a liquor store. He had just cashed a check, but the suspects didn't rob him. They just drove up in a black vehicle, yelled something, and shot him. He had no documented gang membership, police said. Time of death: 6:04 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.

Jesus .... still cant bealeve your gone you will always be in my heart i love you big brother i know we mayy have not been blood but you told me too always call you and think of you like a big brother and i never forgot that because you were like a big brother you were always always ther for me when i needde you no matter what aside the facts that we were neighbors we would always chill and talk about the smallest things how you loved marvin the marshin or how you would always play with my hair too practice for when you would finally have your own little girl that as our secret but i know you dont mind me sharring haha well i love you and miss you soo much i never stop thinking about you and never will i love you <3
