Jesus Martinez, a 37-year-old Latino, was stabbed to death Saturday, Oct. 8, in the 20300 block of Harvard Road in Harbor Gateway, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Officers responded to a stabbing call at a market about 4:45 p.m., according to an LAPD news release.
When authorities arrived, they found Martinez, of Torrance, on the ground with stab wounds, officials said.
Paramedics were called, and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the investigation, detectives learned Martinez had gotten into a fight with an unidentified male and was stabbed.
No arrests have been made in connection with the case.
