Joanna Galbraith, a 74-year-old white woman, was shot and killed Saturday, Dec. 1, at a hospital in the 4100 block of Torrance Boulevard in Torrance, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
The shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, said Torrance police Sgt. Robert Watt.
Galbraith's husband fatally shot his wife in her room before taking his own life, police said.
