Jose Cruz-Martinez, a 27-year-old Latino, was killed in a drive-by shooting at 4876 W. Adams Blvd. in South Los Angeles about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Police said the man was panhandling when a light-colored vehicle drove by and someone from inside shot him. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
