Tomas Ramirez, 35

Died Sept. 19, 2007 at 6:45 a.m.

Tomas Ramirez, a 35-year-old Latino male, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, after being stabbed in Lakewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ramirez was in a public place at the time.

Correction: This homicide was originally reported as a John Doe with no age. Because of that, our old blog listed him inaccurately as an infant. This has been corrected, though the old post is still accessible from the archived post link to the right.

There must be a typo fo rthis. The story saus he was a 'An unnamed Latino male infant", when in fact we have a name and an age.

The story has been updated. Before, it was pulling in the text from the old blog post.

This happened at Bloomfield Park right near my place. I remember the Sheriffs Dept all over the park in the early morning that day. Pioneer Blvd, 214th Street and all the area near the hospital was blocked with Cops. All the kids from Fedde JHS were walking right past all this. Finally, a name. My sympathies to the familia.
