I used to live near to this shooting. I moved to a log cabin in rural washington state in 1980. I am very sad about this young mans
life and the sorrow of his family. Rest in peace young man....I know that growing up in Reseda in 2011 must have been very hard.

" Joseph could not say whether Acosta fired on officers" Most likely the suspect didn't fired on the cops. I wouldn't be surprised the cops unloaded their clips on the suspect.

@ Meck,
Of course Jag didn't read the story. To Jag, there is ALWAYS one side to every cop shooting, and it isn't the side of those who serve and protect the INNOCENT!!!
PERIOD.

The murderer got murdered, I guess it's true you reap what you sow, I sleep better at night knowing people like him are no longer around, I have no love for murderers who kill in cold blood, I hope your enjoying your time in the LAKE OF FIRE. Thank you LAPD
