John Goudeaux, 45

John Goudeaux, 45, a white man, was shot and killed by Van Nuys precinct Officer Timothy Hope, 27, at 17600 Runnymede St. in Van Nuys. He died at 9 p.m. Monday, April 9, about two hours after a confrontation with police. Officer Hope was responding to a report of a kidnapping, police said. They said Goudeaux was wielding a metal rod and was naked when he confronted the officer.
