John Millyard, 38, a white man, was shot at about 8:12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at 14085 Terra Bella St. in Panorama City and died at 10:50 p.m.
Officers got a call of an assault. They found Millyard lying in the street wounded. He was taken to Holy Cross hospital, where he died. He was not from this area, and investigators are seeking to find his family. Authorities cited records showing Millyard spending time in Arizona and Utah.
