Jonathan Silva, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Sept. 24, in the 800 block of West 137th Street in Harbor Gateway, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting of a man about 9:13 p.m. Authorities arrived and found Silva shot.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to coroner's records, Silva was shot several times in the upper body.
Sheriff's officials had no information on the suspect.
