Jonathan Vega-Plascencia, 20

Jonathan Vega-Plascencia, a 20-year-old Latino man, and Brenda Aguilera, a 21-year-old Latino woman, were shot while sitting in a parked car at the intersection of 48th and Wall streets in South Los Angeles about 11 p.m. Sunday, April 27.

According to Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Ana Aguirre, a vehicle pulled alongside the parked car and someone inside began shooting. Aguilera was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Vega was taken to a hospital, where he died, Aguirre said.

She said three women sitting on a porch nearby were also wounded by gunfire. They were taken to hospitals, where they were recovering. The motive for the shooting is unknown, authorities said.

u will always be remember like the person u were, funny,good humor,sporty, party boy,good cuz and a good friend also.i thank the lord 4 giving me a cousin like u and also a big brother in my times of need.i will always sharish the good and bad memories of our childhood. they had to take ur life to short,when all u wanted was to be a helper to teens in need or in problems. thats why u enter collage to become a(probation officer).now we all have to cope with ur lost.its been 2 yrs 1o mothns with 4 days since ur gone I MISS YOU SO MUCH.RIDE IN PARADIZE JONATHAN VEGA & BRENDA AGUILERA.
