Jorge Vazquez Baez, 41, a Latino man, was stabbed in the 10000 block of Garvey Avenue in El Monte about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 22.
According to Denise Fuchs of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, officers from the El Monte Police Department responded to a call of a man down. Upon arrival, officers found the man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
