Once again the Burlighton Locas, did it! local gang that most of them live in the section 8 low income housing and most likely get food stamps and welfare and the males get General relief. We are practicly raising all these thugz that are comintting all these murders.

So sad. Jorge had a lot of enemies and always wanted to be a big time gangster.

"So sad. Jorge had a lot of enemies and always wanted to be a big time gangster. "

That sums up his life. And it also describes a lot of the gangsters who end up dead.

As a single mother of 2 this is what we fear everyday. It is the choices of a parent to think where we want our children to grow up and how. We need to go to school and continue our education and have a good enough job to find a good neighborhood to move to. Get our children involved in sports or other activities. Find a job well enough to come home and spend time with your children. We need to try harder. The only sad part about this story is Jorge's parents. To see jorge grow up and be killed.

Ya JORGE , my little bro, May had some enemies and made some bad choices.... But who is to blame!!I blame the parents and those who encouraged his bad behaviors and at the end to only look away....how BIG of them! As to it being a "DRIVE BY" what a joke!! all for what?? I hope the younger and smarter ones lean from this terrible incident and the parents as well . RIP MIJO

In this situation Jorge was in sports growing up , and as a kid he was one of the sweetest kid you could ever meet even as he got older. As he became an adult he made bad choices again as an adult his parents have really no control over him as an adult theirs nottin they could do but give him advice it was his choice to either take the advice or to do what he pleased.so he made his choice no one right here has the right to judge the parents for a grown as person mistakes specially after losing a son like this. Jorge is missed by every person who new him because yes he did have flaws but he also had good in him just like everyone else don't forget no one is perfect!!!!

I was reading of all the innocent lives that have been taken from US due to violence. The fact is that Pico Union has always been like that. I remember in the early 80"s my mother use throw us in the floor to sleep because 18 was feuding with everyone. The fact is that i never thought that i was going to be one of those who was going to bee doing the same thing others have been doing for years.. I have been shot stabbed and wrongly incarcerated. I went threw the Rampart scandal and im glad that i am alive. The fact is that until Jesus arrives or people open their eyes, hearts and ears nothing will ever change in PIco Union. I know what im talking about because im alive and God himself has delivered me from the inner Hell that i was going threw. I pray that God changes my heart and to continue to due good to show others that people can change.. Much love to all thiose who are still banging and still active on drugs and to those who are incarcerated. I will never ever forget were i come from..God bless all you
