Jose Cano, 13

Jose Cano, a 13-year-old Latino boy, died Monday, June 25, of multiple stab wounds  resulting from an attack in the 100 block of E. 14th Street in Long Beach.

Officers responding to a call about a fight around 9:15 p.m.  discovered that the boy had been stabbed several times in the upper torso in a brawl involving a number of people. He had been taken to a hospital in someone's private vehicle, and died there. The suspects are at large. Jose's time of death was listed as 10:53 p.m. June 25.
