Jose Cardona, a 16-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Saturday, March 26, in the 10600 block of South Grape Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Cardona was found in the street with several gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a hospital in Lynwood where he was pronounced dead at 8:38 p.m.
The coroner's office had no other information about the killing.

N yes we wish that it didnt happend to u but only god knows y it did but I hope that who ever the hell did this to a person like u pays back with a worse things. I hate just to think that ur gone I know ur by god ask him to plz conden that person for takeing such a good person like u I pray for u every night n I always ask god to make sure that person burns in hell with the person he most loved.

From a total outsider I send love and condolences to you , your family and your homies, its hard for me to imagine how someone can shoot or harm a child at 16 it seems your life was just starting and someone took that away from you and those who loved you. I know revenge is a promise but at what point do we evolve spiritually ? I believe as a race , The one Human Race as long as kids are killing kids and others do it in the name of god , we will all be stranded where we are now. God bless you Jose

My lil angel how I miss you I still cant believe till this day that your gone even though I no your in a better place looking down at us taking care of us its been a year but it feels like it was yesturday when those bastards took you away from us but there time is ruuning out and soon they will pay for what they did to you my lil angel and hopefully they shed tears like I did you will always be in my heart till the day we see eachother again save a spot for me and no that even though your no longer with us your still in my prayers and mind I love you see you soon may you R.I.P ANGEL CARDONA 8.10.94 - 3.26.11
