Tragic. Yet another murder of an unarmed victim in LA County

When will people realize that committing crimes has consequences.
His brother must feel pretty pretty bad causing his brothers death. Did he have drugs in the car? Did he have warrants for his arrest? Did he have stolen property in the car? Perhaps the car was stolen. Why did he run from the police?

Why did he "quickly" exit the vehicle, knowing damn well that it's the wrong thing to do, especially when you're leading police on a chase? Why not exit the vehicle slowly and drop yourself to the ground, spread-eagle, instead of doing anything with your hands around your waist?

Meck, do you forget people are not robots and everybody acts differently in any given situation? Apparently, you need to educate yourself about human's reactions under stressful situations. I thought you were smarter thanthis.

There recently was some sort of study of shootings by LASD which showed that of the people shot for "reaching for their waistbands", over half of them had no gun.

— Mike, the study you are referring to also indicates that the majority of killings committed by the LA County Sheriffs are hispanics. It seems nobody is outrage about the findings. So I guess they will continue killings Hispanics knowing there will be no consequences.

Back to the basics of the incident, guys!: IT IS A TRAGEDY! Both for his family who are left behind without their main breadwinner (of which his 2 young daughters happen to be a local Westside Girl Scouts) AND for the officer who shot him certainly feels horrible, but of course it's part of his job to protect the innocent bystanders in his surrounding, his fellow officers and himself. NOT TO MENTION his pathetic brother who probably will never get over causing the death of his brother! BUT MOSTLY FOR HIS KIDS AND WIFE - IT IS A TRAGEDY!! re: the police haters - there are always some "bad apples' in any bucket, but come on - DO YOU REALLY THINK MOST POLICE WOULD KILL A MAN WHO GOT OUT OF A RUNAWAY CAR TO LET THE BAD CAR/PERSON SPEED OFF AND HAS HIS HANDS AT HIS HEAD??? Most people (police are people too!) would not kill that man! Please don't assume all police are bad!!

I've been stopped by police at gun point when they say put your hands where we can see them you best put your hands where they can see them these guys are not playing games when they draw their weapon on you it's shoot to kill their not going to wound you like in TV shows or movies it's best to obey their commands no matter how much you hate the police.

Im all for keeping our neighborhoods safe but killing the unarmed is taking it a bit far. Maybe to you racists his life didnt mean diddly squat but to his family it did. Cops who abuse their power to kill hispanics senseless dont deserve to be a cop and need to go to prison with their crooked self.

after reviewing police radio it sounds as if Jose got killed then the chase of his brother began:
not the other way around
i was not there that is just the picture i get listening to the radio when he was killed
of course there are worse details about this killing
that is just the start of the lies told in this case
