Jose Landaverde, a 24-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Dec. 26, in the 13100 block of Vanowen Street in Valley Glen, authorities said.
Landaverde was killed, and three others wounded, in a gang-related shooting in an apartment courtyard, Los Angeles police said.
The victims, all Latino males, were attacked by a single gunman about 7:05 p.m. The gunman fled.
Landaverde was shot in the chest and died later at a hospital. Another man was shot in the stomach and was hospitalized in critical condition. The two other victims were wounded in the leg and hand, police said.
