Jose Sanchez- Hernandez, 32

Jose Alfredo Sanchez-Hernandez, a 32-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Monday, Aug. 2, in the 1000 block of East 55th Street in South Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Although he was identified by the coroner as Sanchez-Hernandez, Det. Thomas Brown in the L.A. Police Department's Newton division, who is handling the investigation, said his family told police he went by Alfredo Sanchez.
A family member found him at his residence with several gunshot wounds and called 911, Brown said.
Authorities arrived and pronounced Sanchez dead at the scene at 6:35 p.m., according to coroner's records.
There were no witnesses to the shooting, and detectives are continuing to investigate.
