Joseph Jones, a 35-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, Nov. 25, in the 4200 block of Olympic Boulevard in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials.
Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Jones was the victim of a walk-up shooting. He was approached by someone who shot him in the head and back about 4:27 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene 10 minutes later, Winter said.

Larry, this is why these neighborhoods are in continual decline. Two grandchildren at his age means his grand daughter was having kids before she was 18.
Mothers at that age tend to be impoverished and on public aid. That in itself is a tragedy.
