Jovani Quintero, a 26-year-old Latino man, was shot in the head near the Duray Courts apartments at 2828 Duray Place in the West Adams area. His time of death is listed as 11:27 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, according to a coroner's report. The LAPD's Southwest Division is investigating.
Graffiti has been sprayed along wooden fences, garage doors and the street, all in memory of Quintero.
