Kejuan Edward Bullard, 23, a black man, was shot about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, near the parking lot across from BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse at 11101 183rd St. in Cerritos.
Deputies patrolling the area heard gunshots and responded to the lot. Upon arrival, deputies found Bullard on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:08 a.m. the next day.
Authorities said witnesses saw two black men running from the scene after the shooting; one man was carrying a handgun.

I never knew nor even met Kejuan or Bran-
don Bullard. I knew their mother a while back; late '90's thru 2001. I heard her name one day on the National Geographic
channel and realized the segment was specifically about her boys and her tragic,tragic loss when they were each killed. I have tried to locate Ms. Wooten to no avail, in order that she could know I was thinking of her and praying for her and her family. No one,
least of all Ms. Wooten ever deserves
to know such profound heartache. May

I saw the National Geo special about Kejuan and his brother over the weekend. I felt so sorry for Kejuan's son "Daddy! Wake up!" Real crazy watching this little boy trying to process why his daddy was laying there and couldn't move. Same for Branden's little girl, she looked so hurt. I'll never forget the way she broke down. Some of these bangers need to watch this and see what they put the children left behind through. If that doesn't affect them, nothing will.

I saw the special on the Bullard brothers. I can't begin to imagine losing two sons in the space of a few months. Kejuan spoke so well of his brother at the funeral service. When they froze his face on the screen and said Kejuan had been killed too, my jaw dropped. Both men had children who were and probably still are, suffering from the loss of their fathers. These kids very obviously loved their fathers. Now daddy is no more, all over some BS that is petty in the grand scheme of life. I pray for the families and loved ones and especially these children. Also, for those victimized in the shootings that occured after Branden's death.

i watched the national geographic's and saw this about the brothers my heart go out to the kids and the family. it's sad to see these things happen when this is what the white man want us to do kill each other. there are some cold heart-ed people in this world we live in. but we all have to answer to our maker 1 day...

Its almost that time of year again to when you called home. Boy do i miss you you were my buddy. We had plenty of laughs together and you shot plenty of jokes. Wasn't nothing like seeing you trying to teach everybody on the big sidewalk how to do the thizz face and dance lol those were the good times or you telling me that your looks looked better and were softer then LL Cool J lol misssing you much
