Kenneth Glass, a 19-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, April 16, in the 1400 block of 95th Street in Westmont, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Glass and another man were shot together, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department news release. Glass was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim was taken to a hospital. Hewas listed in critical, but stable condition, authorities said.
The department did not have any other information.

I still can't believe it's true, it hurts so much to lose someone that was so cool. I remember when Kenneth would always ask me out and i would always say no because he was shorter than me (LOL) but we were still good friends & it's a blessing just to have known such a beautiful person like him. I will truely miss Kenneth :'(

It's always hard to lose a loved one. This is hard for the family and myself as well. To lose a father three and a half years ago and then to die at such a young age the same way his father died hurts the most. Losing Kenneth Earl Glass III is like losing a child of mine! Just like any love one, Kenneth will be dearly missed. All prayers goes out to the family: Shaun, brothers, Ruby, Kendra, and friends.

I remember you and your little brothers when I first moved on the block. I watched you grown up. You always had a smile on your face and I was always talking to you about what you were going to do with your life. I quess God had other plans for you. Often talking to your Mom about you and your brothers. Kenneth was well loved by your family and friends. We don't know what happened that night. But a coward killed you. I hope they catch the person who did this. May you Rest in Peace. Kenneth

I remember the first time I met you Kenneth. You must have been having a bad day cause you gave me so much attitude. I told my daughter "I don't like him", but you came back and apologized for your behavior. I will always think of you as the kid that's always smiling and joking around. You will be truely missed. RIP Kenneth.

i am truely sorry for your loss no amount of words could ever express our deepest sympathy and the fact that lil kenneth will trulely be missed by my self and all his family but more importantly the people closest to him that loved him the most!

This is still unreal to me, i had just seen you that night then when you leave, this happens :/ we miss you out here Kenneth, everyone does, you are very loved and i know you are watching over all of us, at least we know your in a better place, i love you Kennth :(

Omg I miss you so much , its been over a week & I'm still in shock and disbelief ! why you? like this? so many unanswered questions! you were so young and had a whole life ahead of you. Mook today was a very hard day for me. As the time was approaching for me to get off work I started getting the shakes. I knew today I would drive on the two streets I drive home on everyday and I would no longer get to see you. First I would like to send a prayer out to the Glass family. Althought I did not know the younger Glass I knew the elder.I was looking a some pictures of mine and I came across my prom picture and there he was Kenneth (Kenny) as I use to call him,at the time we were going out. So I though I would look him up and to my dismay I find an article on two Kenneth's. I'm in shock I can't believe this.I'm so sorry for the Glass lost. I will always love Kenny.

Kenneth words can't explain the loss of a student, which one had grown so close to,I remember when u and the rest of my students made a pinky promise, the promise u and the rest made will always be in my heart, may u rest in peace. And may God bless your family and strengthen them.

Most of the good moments in my life were shared with Kenneth it breaks my heart to know I'm never gonna see him again he was my 1st love but I recently had. Dream about him I know he's looking down on me .i just want him back rest in love baby!
