Kenneth Earl Glass, 39, a black man, was shot and killed at 3231 W. 71st St. at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7.
Officers received a radio call of a disturbance with shots fired, said Det. Refugio Garza of LAPD South Bureau Homicide.
They arrived to find Glass lying in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds. A burgundy SUV fled eastbound from the scene. Glass was a father of two who was trying to start his own business, Garza said.
