Why was he out riding his minibike at 1:30 in the morning in an area that already has had 14 homicides within several blocks of this location?

Up to no good or tempting fate. Either one, he paid a high price for it.

Syscom3, you don't know if this minor was up to no good or not. Oct 16 was early Sunday Morning, he must have been out late Saturday night. It was a weekend. I would not be out at night riding a mini bike at that hour but as I said he was a minor and they think they are invincible. He could have thought as long as he did not bother anyone, they would not bother him. Which is further from the truth. I did not know this young man or his family but I pray that God will comfort them during this time.

Everyone have that own thing to say but you really have to think about what you say and how you say. That young man is human. He didn't deserved to be shot. And no I didn't no he. But I am going to prey for his family that what people do for others. So people please think about his family feeling before you say rude thing . So from bottom of my heart family I will be prey for you. That you keep your head up. He still in your heart

Yep.....looks like Jay pointed out he was from 60's...Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crip Gang....whos long fierce feud with the Eight-Tray (83rd St) Gangta Crip ....(the two gangs been killing each other since 1979)....this could be a result of the feud...who knows...but I only roll pass there when Im hangin out on Crenshaw with my lowrider friends...I wouldnt dare to be in the area at 1am..where gangsters with guns can catch you slippin....he was too young and dumb...not be indoors...he had a loud ass motor bike at one am...and brought attention to himself..and was a target

to the last comment that was mad about my boyfriend on this police report , it dont matter if he was gang banger or not obviously you didnt read the report giving back ground information on the 60s and 83s it dont matter about no stupid gang banging a dumb ass mini bike didnt attract no attention he was targeted talk about what you no dumb ass

Coleman, it does matter if he was a gangbanger, that is why he was targeted, dont you get it?

Wow its funny how I read these comments and half of these people on that's speaking upon KK in a negative way didn't even know him. A loud mini home doesn't have to do with the situation none, or were was he at. It deals with him being with the wrong person at the wrong time. And if he was a gang member or not, you have to think about other people that's getting killed behind non releated gang stuff. I just didn't think people could say such harsh things to someone that's dead, that shows you have no respect.

@ Tea

I'm sorry for his loss...but cuz was bangin'..that simple. I'm not say cuz deserve to die...or anybody for that matter, but the fact remains dude claimed 60's...it's on streetgangs dot com. It's easy to sit back and be like he was innocent and all. He may have been a good kid, but he was runnin' wit the 60's. Do you know anything about the 60's?? I'll just say they're the cause of a lot of black men resting in cemeteries across LA. There's a reason why they, along with the East Coast Crips, are the two most hated Crip gangs in Los Angeles. Kids think listening and mimicking rappers like Nipsey Hussle, Snoop, etc is the thing to do..lil do they know when they join a set...they're liable for anything their set does. Who knows what the 60's had done to the 3 men who hopped out and killed him. At 1 something AM cuz was caught slippin'. who did it?? Anybody could have done it. Eight Treys, IFG's, Hoovers, who knows. And what's worse is some other black mother(s) is going to have to pay for these three black men's deed cuz the 60's will retaliate.

To all if you knew him thanks for the respect u given him and to othhers that didnt know him its just words your speaking from the heart i dont hate you for it, fact yea kk did live in the 60 and yes he did know all them and hung out with them so does that mean he was a gang member, i know some 60 and 83 and bloods does that mean im a member to, just cause you know these people dont mean you from a gang, he was n placement other kids arw in there bullying other kids so he had to do what he had to do to keep his head up and protect himself as
he should. Just want to say thanks to everyone for your input, but i wouldnt put this pain in no one mothers heart.

Out of respect for the Corbin family, the negative comments need to stop. Keshawn is gone, this hurts those of us that knew & loved him deeply. I was his former 4th grade teacher and I will never forget his sweet smile. Please show some respect and dignity for his family.

I knew Corbin while he was locked up. And he was a gang member. Though I am saddened by his death hearing how he talked and what he was going to do when released unfortunately I'm not surprised. I hope this wakes up other gang members. Sometimes what u inflict on others comes back on you.
