Kevin Lopez, 23, a Latino man, was shot multiple times at O'Melveny Avenue and Kelowna Street in Pacoima, and died at 4:20 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20.

its been a lil over 2 years since this nitemare happnd theres not a day i dont think of u , u r missd so much by everyone when we c jordan we cant help but c u in him , i wish so much that u n dad were here so i can talk to both of u n tell u how my day went or whether it was about my girls dam how much my kids miss u guys n ill tell u when destiny is silly i jus wish u guys were here to c her n to hear what u have to say destiny is the life of a party jus like u were kevin , i also wish u guys were here to c me walk down the aisle u dont know how hard it will b but dad i asked tony n okie to give me away i know u will b happy for me , i know both of u will b there i just wish i would b able to c u both kevin n dad i love u n we will c each other again , kevin we will take care of jordan as much as we can n let him know about u cuz u will always b his daddy , i love u

It's a real shame that people who kill are free and those that save a life are serving life in prison. Something is definetly wrong with our society.

Hispanic males are always labelled as gang members even if they are not. Not only is that wrong but it sends a negative message about our people.

I hope I live to see the day when justice is served.

My love to all the Lopez/Avila's.
